At the age of 87 one of our beloved friends died suddenly.
He was a wonderful person and often made me laugh with his typically British humor. We knew each other for more than 30 years. I was friends with his deceased son, although he was a lot older than me. His very warmhearted wife and also his daughter will miss him very much.
I sincerely wish both of them a lot of energy and I am with them in my thoughts. My heart is bleeding at the thought that they must now go their way without him.
I am grateful that I was allowed to know him. I will remember his heartfelt hugs, his special humor and his great smile until the day I meet him again in paradise.
And regarding to his homor I will not forget that was the only descendant of a pirate, whom I knew personally. In this sense:
"The captain has left the bridge, Har, har".
